Section 3: Questions & Answers
This section is dedicated to further information on art appreciation in the format of questions and answers.
If you have more questions which you would like to be featured here, you can get in touch with me and I will try my best to answer them.
Where do I start to appreciate Artworks?
One way of learning to appreciate artworks is by making them yourselves. For example, if you are into paintings, you could try painting with acrylic or watercolour yourself.
There are many tutorial videos available for free on social media or YouTube. You could easily pick up the materials from an art store and play around with different types of paper and paint.
It’s always easier for many to learn about materials with a hands-on approach. Techniques can be learnt through a lot of patience and practice.
Once you’ve gained the knowledge on the materials and techniques, upon approaching a painting in the future, you should be able to recognise the way the artwork or painting is made and appreciate the skill in which the artist is trying to demonstrate.
I have no plans to share tutorial videos on this website, but you may benefit from platforms such as YouTube or paid platforms such as Domestika or Skillshare.
